ABOUT THE DOMINO'S PIZZA COMPANY

The history of the Domino's Pizza Company was founded in 1960, when Tom Monaghan and his brother James Monaghan purchase "DomiNick's," a small pizza store in Ypsilanti, Michigan, but a year later James Monaghan trades his half of the pizza business to Tom Monaghan for a Volkswagen Beetle car. With Tom Monaghan being the sole owner of the pizza company, he renames the pizza business "Domino's Pizza, Inc." In 1967 the first Domino's Pizza franchise store opens in Ypsilanti, Michigan and in 1968 the first Domino's pizza store outside of Michigan opens in Burlington, Vermont. In 1983, the first International Domino's Pizza opens in Winnipeg, Canada. Now there are Domino's Pizza stores located worldwide (Australia, United Kingdom, Japan, Columbia, India, Mexico, Ireland, Netherlands, etc) with over 2,000 Domino's Pizza stores across the globe. There are over 350 Domino's Pizza stores in a growing number of locations, towns and cities throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. In 1988, the Domino's Pizza company discontinues the 30-minute guarantee and re-emphasizes the Total Satisfaction Guarantee: If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your Domino's Pizza dining experience, we will re-make your pizza or refund your money. Domino's Pizza has many International online websites on the Internet (www.dominos.com, www.dominos.co.uk, www.dominos.com.au, www.dominos.ca, and www.dominos.nl). Domino’s Pizza also trades common stock on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), under the ticker symbol "DPZ" and London Stock Exchange under the ticket symbol “DPG.”

Domino's Pizza is also a large contributor for helping special non-profit organizations and helping with fund raising relief efforts. Domino's Pizza has a national partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Also Domino Pizza stores in New York City and Washington DC provided more than 12,000 free Domino's pizzas to relief workers at Ground Zero following the September 11th tragedy and Domino's Pizza established a matching funds program to financially assist the American Red Cross and donated $350,000 to the Disaster Relief Effort for the September 11th tragedy.

The Domino's Pizza Company also has a partnership promotion deal with the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) and becomes the "Official Pizza of NASCAR" and Domino's Pizza is an associate sponsor for the Drive for Diversity program, a minority driver development program designed to provide a steady pipeline of well trained and supported minority drivers for the NASCAR circuit.
