Cookie Help

Cookies are tiny bits of information held by your browser that help maintain continuity of identity between page views to a web site. We use a cookie to identify you to the server each time you access privileged information on the clubshop site. Our cookies expire after twelve ( 12 ) hours or when you shut your browser completely down. Cookie technology works smoothly for the vast majority of users. Unfortunately, there are a few exceptions.

If you seem to be experiencing problems, here are some tips:

  1. Be sure you login successfully

If you try to access the Business Centers before logging in, you will automatically be redirected to the login page. If you have just fired up your browser and you can access the page without logging in, you are looking at a cached page. Please press the refresh/reload button in your browser.

Read more about browser caching: Browser Caching

  2. After you have logged in, make sure any bookmarked member sites have a URL that starts like this: http://www.clubshop.com/ If the www is omitted, the cookie will not be recognized. If the free member application still doesn't seem to recognize your cookie (it performs double opt-ins instead of direct sign-ups), try the following link.

  3. Cookie test: http://www.clubshop.com/cgi/cookie_test.cgi

This should give you results similar to these:
cookie = 3r2z493646f6d4956fb6ee399a8fbb27..... a very long string of characters user = 123456 password = MyPassword

If you have logged in and then click the test link and receive no results, this indicates a problem with the cookie getting from your browser to the server. Select "help" on your browser and search for 'cookies' to learn how to enable cookies to be received by your browser.
